I'm kind of new following your blog, but I love that you use oil paint instead of working digitally like so many contemporary fantasy artists. I'm from an oil painting background and still trying to find the technique that works best for me for digitally painting. When I look at your work, though, I think maybe I should just stick with my oils. Lovely stuff. =)
Fantastic painting. I love the design of the creature. The impressionistic background is especially nice as well as the lighting on the creature's chest.
Man, they're doing you a huge favor giving you so much metal practice! Then again, you're doing them a huge favor by supplying awesome paintings all the time.
Spectacular as usual man. Beautifully designed man-I love how his head is virtually non-existent. Great job in incorporating the multiple suns too.
