Argent Sphinx

Another new one for Magic. I'm really glad to finally be able show this one. It's rare, for me at least, that a piece comes out really close to how I originally saw it in my mind, usually things change course for one reason or another, but this one's really dang close. 12 x 16 in. oil on masonite.

  3. Great handling of the tones to get that atmospheric perspective. Gives it a really epic feel. Well done man!

  4. It feels like I've been waiting forever to see this one! I saw a teeny-tiny thumbnail of it in the packaging around the time of GenCon and couldn't wait for the full thing.

I must say, it was worth the wait.

  5. The majestic feel of this piece is simpy incredible. I think this may be one of the cards I'll get just so I can own the art. Well done as usual!

  8. As Matt said the atmospheric perspective is great and really adds to the massive feeling of the sphinx. Very well done. I do like this piece a lot as well as your Enigma Sphinx painting.
