While I don't have any pics yet of the new studio, here's something else. It's the last in the set of three swords I did for the current Magic world. Sword of War and Peace, 11 x 14 in., oil on masonite.
Eric - thanks! Yeah, I spent a bunch of time looking at reference of molten metal and guys doing traditional blacksmithing with red-hot blades. Those color-shifts are everything.

Oh wow. I'm excited at the idea of at least owning a print of this. I can only imagine how cool the foil version of the MTG card will look, too.
