Finally back with some new art (after a spectacular computer crash). Here's a piece for Magic's newest set called Mirrodin Besieged. Glissa, the Traitor, 12 x 16 in., oil on masonite
Great piece. I love the way you surrounded her with what I'm guessing is phyrexian machinery, as if she's part of it now. Oh, and I love the black goo coming from her eyes. Lots of great black goo painting in this set.
You are the MAN, man. If a wizard told me that he would give me the same artistic powers as you and all I had to do was punch a baby in face. There would be one seriously messed up baby out there. THAT'S how jealous I am of your skill.
good to see some new imagery man - lovely piece
ReplyDeleteNice combination of erotic and deadliness.
ReplyDeleteCorrect me if I'm wrong, but I think this is a nice homage to Giger.

ReplyDeleteThanks guys!
ReplyDeleteManuel - Oh yeah, this one was basically a tribute to Giger.
Efrem - Ha! Don't believe the wizard of baby-punching, he's not to be trusted.
This is one of my favorite pieces of art out of all mtg sets. amazing.
