This piece and the pic below of the gorgon are both from the upcoming Greek-influenced MtG set called Theros. This set was a ton of fun and I'm really looking forward to being able to show more work from it. Here's a new one from the upcoming Magic: the Gathering set. I really had fun on this one, it's such a classic fantasy image with the nights and everything. Working on it I found myself thinking a lot of the artists I looked at as a kid, Frazetta and Jon Howe in particular.
