  1. I love the strange armor the angel is wearing, especially the purple and bluish green colors, and how they contrast with the rusty dark steel of the Phyrexian behind her. The light emitting from her really makes it. Masterful, as usual.

  2. I remember you describing this to me a while back. I really didn't know what to expect. I should have guessed it'd be this awesome. This set looks pretty amazing and this is easily one of my favorites in the set. I suspect this is one you'll have a difficult time letting go. Still, if you ever do want to get rid of it...

  6. Thanks guys! It's good to see this one get a lot of love, I've always had kind of mixed feelings about it.

Steve - Don't tempt me, I could use another one of yours in the new studio.

Scott - Yeah, we like em 'healthy looking' around here.

Bik - Nailed it, that's the reference I got for this one. It was so over the top I didn't wind up changing it much.

  7. The fact this is done in oils I find mind blowing alone. The streaks of light behind the angel's head remind me of hair - is that intentional?

Has she fallen from grace? Are those tears or is it her blood? Sorry to ask, but I'm new to your work. Tears of the Fallen, maybe?

  8. This is now named as "Enslave", a reprint of the Zoltan Boros / Gabor Szikszai card originally from Planar Chaos.

Great work, it looks fantastic : )
